Local Northern Virginia Resident Reunites Handcrafted Chair with Manufacturer, Sam Moore, at Belfort Furniture

Sarah, a Fauquier County resident, found signatures of all the craftspeople who worked on her Great Uncle's chair on a label. This curiosity led Sarah to research the manufacturer of the chair, Sam Moore, and find that they are still making handcrafted furniture in the United States.

One of a Kind Finds featured on Great Day Washington

This week on the Smart Style segment on Great Day Washington Matt Huber showed off some of Belfort’s fun “one of a kind” finds. Looking through design magazines can be a great source of inspiration to see rooms that look unique. That designer look and feel to a room often comes from expertly mixing in a few unique items – and it’s easier than you think! Matt explains that our campus may be large at Belfort Furniture but one of his favorite features is our outlet center where we house our ‘one of a kind’ pieces.

Last weekend we enjoyed a free decorating class and home décor trends seminar from designer Denise Alala from Drexel Heritage at Belfort Furniture. Denise, the Vice President of Upholstery Design at Drexel Heritage, shared with us a collection of fabrics just introduced into the line, along with some trends she’s seeing now, what she’s predicting for future lines and where she gets her inspiration from. Joining her for the presentation was Carl Bundy, Sr. Vice President, Product Development.

Belfort Furniture was proud to sponsor the 21st Annual YMCA Loudoun County Golf Classic on Thursday, May 2, 2013. The event was held at the Loudoun Golf & Country Club in Purcellville, Virginia. Money raised from the YMCA Loudoun County Golf Classic funds scholarships for kids to attend summer camp and helps families who need assistance with the expenses of quality aftercare programs.
